It is only when you have a kids patio set in your back garden that you realise what a great addition this is; this has been my experience anyway. I never even thought of such a purchase until I noticed it in my neighbour’s garden. They had this cute little picnic table made put of wood and painted in bright colours; like something you would expect to see in an amusement park. I felt really impressed by it; I’d always assumed that a kids patio set would be made out of cheap looking plastic. I’m quite proud of the garden and don’t really want to cheapen it with something like that unless the kids really wanted it. Not only did the furniture look like something that my children would love but it was also something that I’d be proud to have in my garden.
I wasted no time and found plenty of attractive kids outdoor furniture online; what surprised me most was how reasonably priced some of these items were. I made the shrewd decision to involve my children in the search; they would be the ones using this kids patio set after all. There was a lot of discussion but eventually we found something that suited us all. It wasn’t exactly like the one I’d seen in the neighbour’s garden but it was similar – to be honest, I think the one I bought looks a lot better.
The children have all ready gotten great use out of this new addition to our lawn; in fact they love it. They have picnics out there all the team and it is also a nice place for them to sit and read. I’m sure they are really going to miss it during the winter. I’ll give it another couple of weeks before packing it away for the winter.
